Regional Sales Manager - Scandinavia / Eastern Europe

Memco is the global market leader in elevator door safety edges, emergency elevator telephones and other associated equipment.  Due to the growth of the industry across Scandinavia and Eastern Europe,  Memco is recruiting for a high calibre Sales Manager to drive the growth across the region either directly with Elevator OEMs or via a network of distributors.

The successful applicant will be the focal point and driver for all sales & marketing activity in the region with complete control of the development and implementation of the sales / marketing strategy in conjunction with the Sales & Marketing Director.  The role is primarily one of business development with the aim of setting up direct contact with potential major customers (elevator and component manufacturers), and the development / selection of a new distributor network to support the maintenance and modernisation companies.

You will be fluent in Russian and English (additional relevant languages would be advantageous), and you will be highly motivated to grow sales across an expansive region.  You will be able to work from home within the region and travel extensively as required to develop first class customer relationships with key customers and distributors.  Ideally, you will be of graduate calibre and have over 5 years sales experience within the region for a technical product.   Experience of managing and developing a distributor network is highly desirable.  Memco is committed to growing product sales within this region and a successful candidate will have future growth opportunities within the company.
