Memco Germany was established in 1993 as a Branch office to increase the service levels offered to Memco’s customers in Germany.  The business has grown year on year and now has a leading market share within the German light curtain market along with a growing presence in adjacent products lines (emergency telephones, displays, LED lighting, etc).  To enable the business to continue its expansion, Memco is recruiting for the position of Sales Engineer – Germany to assist with the development of sales from an increasingly technical bias.

This role will be responsible for a sales region within Germany (depending on home location) with direct account responsibility for a set of existing, development & target customer accounts along with support on a technical basis for the sales development of LCD displays, elevator emergency telephones and other products across the region.

The successful candidate will be required to travel extensively (and frequently) across Germany and at times to other European countries to help drive the expansion of sales.  It is expected that 80% of the time will be spent with customers, conducting sales / technical presentations / solving problems / etc.

You will be an ambitious and highly driven individual with a strong track record in sales, ideally within a business to business environment with a strong emphasis on technical products. You will have strong inter-personal skills in order to develop first class relationships with the customer base.  Input into the product development roadmaps for all of Memco’s current & future products will be a requirement of the role which will be based within the territory from a home office base.
